A small practice for people who are hurt

Pivot Chiropractic is a small practice on Woodward Avenue in Midtown Detroit. We see people hurt in car crashes and at work, and others with back and neck complaints. Dr. Elie Maalouf leads the practice, and two staff at the front desk handle scheduling, benefits checks and records requests.

Where we are

We are at 4200 Woodward Avenue in Midtown. The practice has private exam and treatment rooms and a small space for exercises.

Call or send a message and the front desk will find a time that works, including Saturday mornings.

A private room for every visit

Exams and care happen in a private room. Your doctor tells you what each step involves before it starts, and you can ask to stop at any time.

Dr. Elie Maalouf founded Pivot Chiropractic so that people hurt in crashes and at work get a clear first visit and a plain account of fees. At every visit Dr. Maalouf explains what the exam found, what the options are and what each would cost, and says when you should see a physician first.

How we work

Four things you can expect at every visit.

  • Exam first

We examine before we recommend anything.

  • Plain explanations

What we found, the options, the risks and the cost, in words you can repeat to your family.

  • A plan you agree to

No visit count is promised. You and your doctor set the plan, and you can change it.

  • Reviewed as you go

Your doctor checks in on the plan at each visit, and tells you if you should see someone else.
