First visit
What to expect at your first visit
A first visit takes 45 to 60 minutes. You talk with your doctor, have an exam, hear what was found and what the options are, and decide what happens next. Care starts that day only if you agree.
What to wear
Loose, comfortable clothes. Your doctor tells you before asking you to change anything.
What to bring
A photo ID, your insurance card if you use one, and claim details if you were hurt in a crash or at work.
Your questions
Ask about risks, costs and options at any point. They are part of the visit.
Your choice
You can decline any part of care, or stop, at any time.

The visit in order
From the front door to your plan
The same four steps for every new patient.
Check in
Confirm how you want to pay and how to reach you. No health forms are needed in advance.
The exam
You talk through what happened, then your doctor examines how you move.
Your options
Your doctor explains what was found, the options, the risks of each and what each would cost.
The plan
If you agree to a plan, your doctor goes through it with you and the front desk books your next visit.
